A hidden gem in Trastevere
Villa Matissa exceeded our expectations with its charming atmosphere. Silvio's warm welcome and local tips made us feel at home. The shared terrace was a lovely retreat.
Unfortunately, the room could have benefited from a bit more soundproofing, as street noise was occasionally a distraction during the night.

The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed after exploring. Super spacious, and we had a garden view that was lovely to wake up to. There’s also a nice shared kitchen if you want to grab a quick bite or make coffee. The nearby terrace and garden were perfect for relaxing, especially with a glass of wine in hand. Only downside was some plumbing noise from the shared walls, but it didn't bother us much.
