A hidden gem in Trastevere
Villa Matissa was so great with its charming atmosphere. Silvio's warm welcome and local tips. The shared terrace was a lovely retreat.
Unfortunately, the room could have benefited from a bit more soundproofing, as street noise was occasionally a distraction during the night.

We loved being in this property. Came here for 4 nights with our family members, had a very pleasant stay. All the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was in a very central location outside of the main city centre.

great garden views but minor bathroom issue
The garden was a tranquil spot to unwind, perfect for evening relaxation. The room felt cozy, with the private bathroom meeting our expectations comfortably. Silvio's tips for local dining and attractions really enhanced our experience, just like how breakfast in the garden was good.
Unfortunately, there was a slight issue with mold in the shower that needs attention.

The room wasnice and neat, just what we needed after exploring. Super spacious, and we had a garden view that was lovely to wake up to. There's also a nice shared kitchen if you want to grab a quick bite or make coffee. The nearby terrace and garden were perfect, especially with a glass of wine in hand. Only downside was some plumbing noise from the shared walls, but it didn't bother us much.
